Eligibility:
Post-doctoral researchers, graduate and undergraduate students in the areas of organic chemistry, synthetic methodology, total synthesis, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, chemical biology, environmental/green chemistry, analytical chemistry and chemical engineering.

The aim of Pfizer Chemistry Connect is to share the exciting career options in chemistry in the pharmaceutical industry and to connect post-doctoral researchers and students with Pfizer science & culture in alignment with our commitment to equity.

Apply if you would like to learn about careers in the pharmaceutical industry, hear from Pfizer scientists about drug development, present on your science to a Pfizer audience and network with Pfizer scientists, engineers, and leaders.

Click on the link for your area of study and fill out the application form. To apply to present your research, please remember to upload a CV and abstract. Only apply to present if you can attend the full duration of the symposium. You can also apply to attend the Pfizer scientific presentations and Q&A sessions only, without presenting.

If you apply and are invited to present: The day will run for approximately 6 hours total (Includes a 1-hour break) and will comprise of presentations from Pfizer colleagues, interactive Q&A sessions, and student presentations. A detailed agenda will be emailed directly to all student presenters. Only apply if you can attend the full duration of the presentations.
If you apply without presenting: The day will run for approximately 2.5 hours and will comprise of presentations from Pfizer colleagues and interactive Q&A sessions. A detailed agenda will be emailed directly to all participants. Only apply if you can attend the full duration of these sessions.

Post-doc/Student presentations are scheduled for 15 minutes + 5 mins of questions = 20 mins total.

You will be informed if you have been selected to participate in the event within 2-3 weeks after the submission deadline has passed. Remember to check your spam and junk folders. If you would like to present your research, you must upload a CV and abstract. Only apply to present if you can attend the full duration of the symposium.

Students that are not presenting research will be invited to attend the presentations from Pfizer colleagues and interactive Q&A sessions to engage with Pfizer and gain knowledge of our culture and science. Only those presenting their research will attend the student and post-doctoral researcher presentations.
