Day 1 of the symposium will include:

  • Networking with scientists, engineers, and leaders at Pfizer

Eligibility: post-doctoral researchers, graduate and undergraduate students, in the areas of organic chemistry, synthetic methodology, total synthesis, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, chemical biology, environmental/green chemistry, analytical chemistry and chemical engineering.

The aim of Pfizer Chemistry Connect is to share the exciting career options in chemistry in the pharmaceutical industry and to connect post-doctoral researchers and students with Pfizer science & culture in alignment with our commitment to equity.

Apply if you would like to learn about careers in the pharmaceutical industry, hear from Pfizer scientists about drug development, present on your science to a Pfizer audience and network with Pfizer scientists, engineers, and leaders.

Click on the link for your area of study and fill out the application form. To apply to present your research on Day 2, please remember to upload a CV and abstract.

A detailed agenda will be emailed directly to all accepted participants. Day 1 will include keynote presentations from Pfizer leadership, technical talks from Pfizer scientists and an interactive career panel discussion. Day 2 will include post-doctoral research and student presentations and further networking opportunities. Each day will run for approximately 4 hours.

Post-doc/Student presentations are scheduled for 15 minutes + 5 mins of questions = 20 mins total.

You will be informed if you have been selected to participate in the event within 2-3 weeks after the submission deadline has passed. Remember to check your spam and junk folders. Please note, to be considered for Day 2, you must upload a CV and abstract. All attendees will be invited to attend Day 1, but only those presenting research will be invited to Day 2.

Day 2 attendance is by separate invitation only. If you are interested in being considered for Day 2, please apply by uploading a CV and abstract.

If accepted to participate on Day 2, Congratulations! You will also be invited to attend Day 1. We would highly recommended attending Day 1 to engage with Pfizer and gain knowledge of our culture and science.
